Viewers in Fremont County, Rawlins and Saratoga - OUTAGE

Lightning damage to Wyoming Public Television's transmitter tower on Limestone Peak near South Pass today has created outages to over the air viewers in Fremont County, Rawlins and Saratoga. Cable viewers have also been affected.

Wyoming PBS discovered severe damage to its antenna on Banner Ridge this past week, which is the location for the station's translator that provides an over-the-air signal to Sheridan viewers on digital channels 4-1 and 4-2.

Due to an equipment failure, the digital translator for transmission of Wyoming PBS (both 4.1 and 4.2 channels) into Park County and the Meeteetse area is not operational.
