PINEDALE — Ultra Petroleum, Shell and QEP Energy (formerly Questar) have launched a new website providing information on natural gas development in the Pinedale Anticline Project Area (PAPA) — www.PAPAoperators.com.

The site is intended to be a resource for community members and anyone else interested in learning about the three developers' efforts to preserve air quality, protect water resources and preserve wildlife and habitat. It also provides basic information about the PAPA, hydraulic fracturing, drilling technology and an introduction to natural gas.

In addition, the site provides links to the websites of the three operators, the Bureau of Land Management, and to the Pinedale Anticline Working Group.

Members of the public can also sign up for email updates on development in the region at pinedaleanticline@gmail.com.
